Project Overview
The new $500 million Darling Quarter community precinct at Darling Harbour opened in September 2011.
The Lend Lease development combines 59,000 square metres of commercial space including the Commonwealth Bank new Australian headquarters, with 5,000 square metres of retail space.
There are numerous dining options, an open community green, a multi-purpose children’s theatre and 4,000 square metre public playground. The precinct also includes a 600-space public car park.
The twin seven-storey towers house more than 6,500 workers and have set a new benchmark for green building design in Australia. The development has been awarded a 6 Star Green Star Office Design v3 from the Green Building Council of Australia.
